From an urban point of view, the school is the termination of a long wall of houses that border the park. On the park side, the building is transparent and openwork, while on the neighborhood side, the main shape is monolithic and cool.
The auditorium and the play area are located in the middle of the school and literally and figuratively form the heart of the organization. The heart connects VMBO, the gymnasium above and the primary school classrooms spread over three floors in a spatially interesting and dynamic way. The building here is also largely transparent and offers a view of the large green park.

The primary school is set up in such a way that each group - lower, middle and upper classes - has its own floor; the basement has four classrooms on the ground floor, the middle school has six classrooms on the first floor and the upper level has four classrooms on the second floor. The groups each have their own entrance, so that the youngest children are not overrun by the elderly, and access to their own playground in the park.

In any case, the relationship with the park on the south side of the school is very important. It was decided to position the rooms on the north side, so that the south side offers space for a wide multifunctional room/corridor with a view of the park. Here, with a view of the greenery, the children can make individual works or play in the doll corner.
