The design of the rectangular urban block designed by atelier PRO provides for a relatively formal medium-height edge building on the street and square walls in combination with low-rise buildings in the car-free middle area. This middle area is an informal residential street inspired by London - a so-called “mew”. Various alleys connect these 'mews' transversely to the outer sides of the block. A parking basement located on the square side provides - in accordance with the urban planning program of requirements - 100 of the 123 homes in Block 6 with a parking space.

In the development of the homes, we strived for maximum differentiation between home types as well as rental, purchase and price categories. The subdivision of the single-family homes is alternately narrow and wide, creating special new types.
To compensate for all the diversity in design, building heights and housing typology, materialization strived for coherence. All houses are built in the same dark brick with the exception of a few strategically located accents in white and grey brickwork.
PRO himself designed two square blocks and the parking basement. The AGD block (28 social housing + communal space) is intended for independent residents with a hearing disability. Smart communication systems and good sight lines are essential for this target group.

The AMH block has a base of 27 apartments and maisonettes in the mid-range of the buying sector. Above that, there are three houses in the expensive category with spacious roof terraces.
