At the Paschalis School, openness comes first. All spaces are interrelated in a completely transparent way and are arranged in two wings. On the playground in the middle, the old chestnut tree stands as a living sign of location and continuity. With a calm, adapted choice of materials, a safe learning environment has thus been created for four hundred students.
The auditorium and the central hall form the heart of the Paschalis School. This is not only where all the corridors and the walkway come out, but it is also the meeting place for meetings. The basement and middle buildings lie on opposite sides of the central hall. The playroom also adjoins that hall, so that it can be turned into a large space for performances. The superstructure is “more independent” across the street, between the gym (with glass façade on the playground) and the daycare and after-school care.

The classrooms are divided into two zones for instruction and self-activity, expandable in the corridor area through transparent sliding doors, including the façade. The diffusing skylight in the hallways is special.

Jonas daycare has an appearance that fits into the whole: open and accessible. Culture and identity are therefore closely linked to primary school. At the heart of the daycare, there is a patio that provides direct daylight into the surrounding group rooms.
The building is inspired by the surrounding architecture of the 1930s with a colorful contemporary touch.
