Evelien van Beek graduated cum laude in architecture at TU Delft in 2008 with the project 'On the fracture surface'. This was a design for a new conservatory in The Hague. Immediately afterwards she joined atelier PRO.

Her professional approach is characterised by her critical and intuitive design attitude that demonstrates strong affinity with context, space and material.

Evelien creates architecture designs ranging from competition phase up to execution phase. At atelier PRO she works on a variety of project assignments: education, healthcare, infrastructure, housing, culture and multi-use, both new construction and redevelopment.

She played a substantial role in the architecture designs of several projects. Evelien contributes significantly to competitions, tenders and formulating strategic design visions.

Evelien was responsible as project architect for the Vitalis College in Breda, the first project ever to be awarded Breda Welstandsprize.
