Atelier PRO has designed the master plan for Craeynburch. The key issue of this plan was to sustain the landscape qualities of the site.
One part of this master plan is the Park dwellings at the northeast side of the terrain. On this particular site the existing trees and green structure has inspired to the unique concept. The private gardens are exchanged for a park setting with detached and semi detached dwellings. The elevations on the sunny side are in bright white render whereas the other elevations are in dark brown/red brick.
Variation by unity is an important design theme. The unity of the materials makes it possible to vary the size and position of the dwellings without destroying the unity of the composition.
The dwellings can be adjusted to the personal wishes of the residents. There is a terrace next to the living room and a balcony on the 1st floor. Some of the dwellings can be extended with an extra bedroom and a second garage.
