This housing project is situated on the crossing of two main routes, the Volendamlaan and the Oude Haagweg. The border of this area consists of one large volume along the Volendamlaan, the other of a row of houses including office space.
These two elements form an intermediary to a quieter, inner area. Here one can breathe the peaceful atmosphere reminding of the so called 'Haagse Hofjes' from older days.
Here 4 volumes of houses are projected; entrances are on one side, on the other side on the ground floor, in between two rows, a parking space is situated with gardens on the first floor. The section of these so called `city houses` resemble drive-inn houses but without their typical disadvantages. In this way double use of space is a fact.
