Paul Vlaar (1976) is member of the management team and responsible for operations and finance.

He has further extended his professionalism as project manager at atelier PRO.


Since 2007 he has worked on a variety of large and smaller projects.
At this moment (2018) Paul is in charge of the project management of the Research and Diagnostic Center project of the VUmc Amsterdam. Prior to this he was project leader of projects like Metis Montessori Lyceum extension in Amsterdam, the Vrijzinnig Christelijk Lyceum (VCL) schoolproject in The Hague, Vakcollege Eindhoven and Aloysius de Roosten (former Pleincollege) schoolproject in Eindhoven, The Hague World Trade Centre redevelopment project, Bronckhorst Cityhall at Hengelo, de Statie multi-use public building in Sas van Gent and Ezinge Educational Park in Meppel.

During his educational studies at the Delft University of Technology, he became interested in the technical side of architecture. That is why, in addition to architecture, he also graduated in building technology. This is also apparent in his current work. He ensures the coordination and integration of construction, installations, building physics and fire safety. His role usually starts in the final design phase. During construction, he oversees the execution quality and regularly consults with contractors about materials and methodologies to be applied.
