ir. Skander Saadi (1991) has been working at atelier PRO since February 2018. He graduated in 2017 at the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of the Delft University of Technology (TU) Delft.
He is particularly interested in the human aspect of the profession. His Master thesis addressed the subjective experience of materials and his graduation project the potential of funerary architecture to generate a sense of community in the anonymous and multicultural city of today. This human-based approach motivates him to broaden his knowledge and to look at architecture from different disciplines such as sociology, psychology, or philosophy.
With Atelier PRO, Skander strives to design comfortable, sustainable and meaningful architecture that connect people with their culture and history, as well as with the natural landscape and climate they live in. In other words: a built environment in which people feel at home.
