Wessel Reinders (1971) has worked at atelier PRO since 1998 on various sized projects. Initially as an interior architect and later as an architectural designer and project manager. Because of the interweaving of these functions he has created a preference for restoration and renovation. At atelier PRO he worked extensively on special projects such as redesigning national monuments: the Library of Extraordinary Collection of the University of Amsterdam, the Academy Building of the University of Leiden and the Police Academy in Apeldoorn.

He has also worked on major interior projects, such as the Meander Medical Centre in Amersfoort and the new City Hall in Deventer.

Wessel studied Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at the Academies of Arts in The Hague and Kampen. After that he studied Construction and Master Architecture at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture.

At this moment (2018) Wessel is closely involved in the internal redesign of the Allard Pierson museum.
