The British School of Amsterdam officieel geopend!

On Friday the 21st of April, we celebrated the official opening of our project The British School of Amsterdam. With the transformation of this former prison into a primary and secondary school, we created a home for different groups of pupils, and opened a closed-off building block towards the city. We transformed "thé building that everybody wants to escape" into a place where children, staff and parents enjoy being. And it's not just them who are enthusiastic: since its completion in 2021, the project has been, among others, nominated for the Gulden Fenix and the Amsterdam Architecture Prize and published in, among others, De Architect, Archdaily en het Jaarboek Architectuur in Nederland.

We are proud that - after a two-year delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic - the building has now been festively and officially opened by the British Ambassador.
