Ernstjan Cornelis (1963) has worked at atelier PRO since 1993 and is the Financial director since 2006.
Upon completion of his education at HTS in Tilburg, Ernstjan Cornelis worked at architectural offices in Amsterdam and London. He graduated in Architecture at the TU Delft in 1993 and combined his studies with a part time job with an architect’s office. With atelier PRO, he was project leader and team coordinator in, amongst other, the construction of the Dutch embassy in Kiev, Ukraine and the development of the In - Outdoor Center De Uithof in The Hague into a multifunctional sport centre. From 1999 to 2003, he was the office coordinator and thereafter Assistant Executive/ Financial Director.
In October 2003, he successfully completed his MBA training in building construction with a study into the central role of the architect in the building process, published in book form.
With this change of position, he still maintains his interest in technique and his love for architecture and landscape.
